The Helper

The first draft of The Helper was written in the late spring of 2020. The fall of 2020 was spent in pre-production, and adapting the script to be shot in entirely exterior locations. The film was shot in the midst of the pandemic in the spring of 2021 with a crew of 7 people. 

The story follows Lane, a young therapist whose career and life is put at risk when her patient Wentworth suddenly leaves a session.
